The mission of the Work-Based Learning
Program is to assist in providing a highly trained, technologically sophisticated and career oriented young work force. This is accomplished by developing partnerships between business, industry, students, parents, school systems, coordinators, post-secondary institutions, and registered apprenticeships which will lead students into meaningful careers. |
Is WBL for YOU?
Does your high school career pathway match what you want to do when you graduate? Do the tasks at your part-time job relate to the career pathway you have completed or are enrolled in at school? Does your part-time job provide training in an area of future interest? Are you learning valuable employability or leadership skills? If you answered YES to any of these, then WBL is a match for you! |
